We see Vampirella fighting for her life in the opening scene. It then changes to a woman named Kelly viewing the video of her death on her computer. Her husband Frank walks in to see her watching this video he thinks it is some kind of viral marketing campaign for a new movie coming out. Kelly starts to see symbols of Vampirella everywhere which starts to drive her mad. She then heads to the Law Library where she meets Mordecai Pendragon. Mordecai informs her that she has been marked by Vampirella and shows her what happened 10 years ago. This is a re-vamp (no pun intended) of this character, however the art work is mediocre to say the least and the story line is rather drab. I personally would not recommend this comic as something to pick to read. It was mind numbing to read and when I finally reached the last page it was a sign of relief. Pass on this issue.
