The Boys starts off in a desolate beach area with a run down house over looking the water at night. Stormfront shows up and blasts the van to smithereens. The next few pages are full of vulgar language and a really grotesque fight scene takes place. This is still not one for the children. The conclusion of "The Self-Preservation Society" ends with you wondering about something. If you like The Boys then this is a definite buy, if you do not then pass, & if you are someone who wanted to read them this issue would make you want to read the previous ones.
