Kory and Donna are in the home of a woman named Ms. Baker. Being grateful for letting them stay in her home their brief discussion is interrupted by the door bell. Standing outside the door is Bill looking to speak with Buddy. They try to convince him that they want to bring Prometheus to justice with the help of the Justice League. The scene shifts to the League arguing about Prometheus, until they decided to calm down and listen to what Batwoman has to say. Shade still sits in Jay's house letting him know of his findings regarding Prometheus's plan, until he is paged by Atom. Finally an issue of this story line I can say was bad. It just didn't have that extra something the other previous issues had. I can finally say pass on by this issue save your money and time for something better to read.
Worse: the ending makes no sense! Try to match up where Kara, Freddy and Congorilla are over the last 10 pages -- it's thoroughly confusing. Why does Kara wonder where Freddy is when he was just there 2 panels earlier? Then he's back but now Kara has wandered off. (And no one else in the satellite noticed him leaving or returning?) And somehow, Congorilla gets attacked after Kara has wandered off and Freddy has returned. In fact, it looks like Kara attacks Congorilla herself.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't even try to figure out where Hawkman disappeared to or where Flash was for the whole issue.
I blame the artist for not planning out who is where at each moment of the story!
